Partner Journey

Hiring Through MET Recruitment

Partner with MET to access pre-screened candidates, wage subsidies, and a dedicated recruitment team, all at no cost to your organization.

  1. Submit the Partnership Form & Get Approved

    Start with the short partnership form on our Hire Talent page. Our team reads every submission and gets to know your organization and hiring needs before setting up access.

  2. Post Your Jobs

    Once approved, submit job postings directly to the MET platform. Your openings are reviewed, shared with the community, and matched to qualified candidates.

  3. Candidate Matching

    We do the heavy lifting. Our recruiters know the talent pool personally and refer the best-fit candidates straight to you.

MET Employment & Training primarily serves Red River Métis Citizens, meaning individuals who hold citizenship with the Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF). Not sure if that's you? Reach out to our team and we'll help you figure it out.
No. Everything MET offers is completely free for job seekers: profile creation, counsellor support, résumé help, job matching, and training programs. No hidden fees, no subscriptions.
We can't promise a job, because hiring decisions always rest with employers. What we can promise is that we'll work hard to match you with opportunities that fit your skills and goals, and keep supporting you along the way.
You can browse the job board without an account, but you'll need a profile to apply through MET. A profile is how our counsellors get to know you, connect you to the right positions, and reach out with support. It takes a few minutes and it's free.
MET works with training and certification providers across Manitoba. What's available depends on your situation and goals, so your counsellor will walk through your options with you during your intake meeting.
Employers of all sizes across Manitoba are welcome: private sector, non-profit, and public sector alike. We prioritize partnerships with employers committed to inclusive hiring and supporting Métis workers in meaningful employment.
The approval process typically takes 1–2 business days. Once your partnership form is submitted, the MET team reviews your information and sends your login credentials to your contact email on approval.
No. Job postings and recruitment support are free for all approved employer partners. No listing fees, no subscriptions, no placement fees. Our services are funded to support employment within the Red River Métis community.
Wage subsidies are financial supports available to eligible employers who hire Métis workers. They can offset a portion of the new employee's wages during an initial employment period. Eligibility depends on the role, the employer, and available program funding. Speak with your assigned MET recruiter to find out what may apply to your organization.
After your job is posted, MET employment counsellors review our active talent pool and identify candidates whose skills, experience, and goals align with your role. We screen applicants before referring them, so you receive qualified candidates rather than unfiltered applications. You are never obligated to hire any referred candidate.
